Park Museum partners with Builders’ Guild to produce fundraising calendar

The Board of Governors of The Park Museum is pleased to announce its collaboration with The Park’s Builders’ Guild (Association of Professional Park Construction Workers) in its latest fundraising effort.

In support of the Museum, registered Guild members have agreed to donate photographs of themselves to a calendar that will be sold by the Museum. All proceeds from the sale will be used to offset the cost of the Museum’s construction and ongoing operations.

According to a SpokesAnimal for the Guild, the photographs will be “candid, at-work pictures that will give Park Animals an appreciation of the size of the project and the kind of work that went into building the Museum.”

In addition to the workers’ photographs, the calendar will offer a “sneak peek” of the Museum’s interior and of a number of recently-acquired items in the Museum’s collection.

The calendar is expected to be available for sale as early as September, 2013. It will be sold at a small kiosk outside the Museum construction site as well as at select shops in The Park.
